Everything you need to know to watch the Week 13 rematch of last season’s NFC Championship game.

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) are back at home for their big Week 13 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers (8-3) late-Sunday afternoon.

This has big rematch vibes coming from the Niners, but the Eagles don’t seem to be playing into it. A.J. Brown told fans not to take his friend Deebo Samuel’s trash talk too seriously, it’s just part of his game, this despite the 49ers WR calling James Bradberry trash — and then doubling down on his comments.

Still, you have to imagine San Francisco will be playing with a little extra juice on Sunday, something that will undoubtedly be counteracted by the home-field atmosphere at The Linc. The 49ers have been complaining about their loss to the Eagles in the NFC Championship for the past 10 months, so there’s plenty of irritation from both sides.

The Eagles were able to squeak out an overtime win against an impressive Bills team last week, but they can’t always rely on their ability to claw back into the game — they could, but for the general health of Philly fans, it would be preferable for them to take the lead and then keep it for a full game. That will be a tall task, however, facing what is one of the most impressive NFL rosters over in San Francisco. Head coach Nick Sirianni talked about the dominant depth the 49ers have, especially on defense, including one of the Eagles former top DT’s, Javon Hargrave.

While an easy road to victory would be ideal, it’s not exactly likely, but this Eagles team has done enough through the first 12 weeks of the season to earn the confidence and belief of the fans. They might get boo’ed a few times along the way, but maybe that will just motivate them to play a cleaner game — however, there is a chance for rain in the afternoon, so it could just be another messy, slogfest.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.

Odds

The Eagles are underdogs at home this week.

San Francisco 49ers: -3 (-155)

Philadelphia Eagles: +3 (+130)

Over/under: 48

History Lesson

The 49ers lead the all-time series between these teams, 19-14-1, and while the Eagles have won two of their three most-recent regular season games, San Francisco won 17-11 when they last faced off back in 2021.

The teams are tied at one win each when they’ve played each other in the postseason, with the Eagles winning most-recently, claiming victory in the NFC Championship game earlier this year to go to the Super Bowl — a game the 49ers have been complaining about ever since.
