The Eagles are headed to Vegas, baby in Week 7.
The Philadelphia Eagles (2-4) are back on the road in Week 7 after a mini-bye week, and will face the Las Vegas Raiders (4-2) on late-Sunday afternoon.
Late-game comebacks have been a trend for the Eagles the past two weeks, one succeeded in Week 5 over the Panthers, but they failed to get a win on Thursday Night Football last week against the Buccaneers. From questionable play calling — going for a field goal down two scores in the fourth quarter — to an offense that can’t get seem to move the ball on first and second down, the Eagles had more than enough areas to self-scout this past week. We’ll see on Sunday if they were able to make any notable improvements.
As far as the Raiders are concerned, they’re still working through losing their head coach, Jon Gruden, mid-season. They were able to figure things out thanks to their veteran quarterback and coaching staff with just days between Gruden’s resignation and their Week 6 matchup, and ended up coming away with a 34-24 win over the Broncos. Whether things are still smooth sailing for the team on-the-field is yet to be seen, but they at least don’t have to deal with the distraction that came with Gruden and the release of his problematic emails.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
