Footballlllllll babyyyyyyyy.

Some football is better than no football, even if it’s preseason football!

That’s what we’ve got to open the 2021 NFL preseason, when the Philadelphia Eagles host their in-state opponent, the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.

We can expect to see a little bit of the starters, including what Jalen Hurts is capable of after an offseason with the ones, as well as what some of the younger skill players can do. We won’t get to see DeVonta Smith, who’s still working his way back from an MCL sprain, but I’d rather him be healthy for Week 1, anyway.

While we know that the Eagles aren’t going to give away all their secrets during the preseason, it’ll be interesting to see how Nick Sirianni handles playcalling and what they do in certain timing situations — timeouts, two-minute drills, etc…

What are you most excited for, or hoping to see, when the Eagles take the field?
