Every player drafted with 1st overall pick in the last 20 years

The Chicago Bears have the first overall pick for the second straight year (courtesy of the Carolina Panthers). But unlike last year, the Bears are staying put and will make the selection on draft night. At this point, it’s all but guaranteed they’ll draft quarterback Caleb Williams.

When looking at the history of the No. 1 pick, there have been 14 total quarterbacks selected since 2004 — and seven over the past nine years. That trend will continue as Chicago is expected to pick Williams.
