Experts side with Saints over Panthers in Week 2 clash

Last week, the Carolina Panthers dominated the expert picks over the New York Jets, 32 to 1. And maybe they’re called experts for a reason, because that overwhelming majority was correct.

So how about this Sunday, when the Panthers host the New Orleans Saints in their second contest of 2021?

All seven panelists side with the Saints. The Panthers do, however, come within one score in six of the seven predictions.

Sheesh. Another sweep for New Orleans in an 11-for-11 cleanup.

A mini-sweep here as well. Mike Florio has it 30-21 while Chris Simms has it a bit closer at 24-20.

MMQB: Saints

CBS Sports: Saints

Two more takers! Senior writer (and familiar name to the Carolinas) Will Brinson and senior fantasy writer Dave Richard are the only two CBS experts to choose the Panthers. The other six pickers went the other way.

Combined, Carolina earned a tenth of the picks New Orleans does, at 30-3.
