Here are some Falcons links to get your Wednesday morning rolling.

So what did we learn?

Other than our collective ability to power through a Monday morning after the disaster on Sunday afternoon, we learned five things about the Atlanta Falcons after their drubbing against the Philadelphia Eagles.

A looming question at left guard

If the Falcons thought the Eagles’ defensive front was going to be trouble, they should wear extra padding ahead of Atlanta’s game against the Bucs on Sunday. Tampa’s vaunted line is likely chomping at the bit after what it saw from the Falcons’ offensive line — particularly the left guard spot.

So what should the Falcons do at that position ahead of Sunday’s tilt? There aren’t any good answers, really. The spot has been a hole since Andy Levitre retired, and whoever mans it on Sunday is going to have their work cut out for them.

Hat tips & head-scratchers

We questioned a lot on Sunday. We wrote about the good and bad in this week’s iteration of hat tips & head-scratchers.

Sunday’s depth chart released

Not any major changes in the Falcons’ recently released depth chart. Josh Rosen is now officially listed as the backup, and Jalen Mayfield remains the presumptive starter ahead of Atlanta’s game against Tampa Bay.

Snap counts

Quarterback Josh Rosen got two of ‘em! Atlanta’s new backup QB hit the field for two snaps during this debacle.

Tight end Kyle Pitts was on the field for 49, but most notably not where it mattered immediately: on Atlanta’s first red-zone possession.

Practice squad cuts

The Falcons now have three available spots on the practice squad, as they’ve reportedly cut three players, including recently signed kicker Elliott Fry.
