The Atlanta Falcons have released cornerback Cornell Armstrong via injury settlement, according to team reporter Tori McElhaney. Armstrong was waived/injured at last week’s 53-man roster deadline.

After clearing waivers, Armstrong reverted back to Atlanta’s injured reserve list, but now he gets released with an injury settlement.

The Falcons are down a man at cornerback entering Sunday’s game against the Panthers, ruling out Jeff Okudah (ankle) Friday afternoon. Running back Cordarrelle Patterson and wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge questionable, per head coach Arthur Smith.
