Let’s catch up on what the roster actually looks like

With all of the roster moves the New York Giants have made since training camp began, let’s take some time to check out what the 90-man roster and the unofficial depth chart actually look like right now.

The Levine Toilolo injury, Kyle Rudolph still being on PUP and Rysen John being on the Reserve/COVID-19 list mean there really isn’t currently as much depth at tight end as you might think.

The linebacker situation is interesting here. You will notice that neither Ryan Anderson nor Reggie Ragland, veteran linebackers signed for depth in the offseason, are list. Both are on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list. They don’t count against the 90-man roster. Each day they stay on NFI decreases the chance they make the 53-man roster at the end of the preseason.

Aaron Robinson and Oshane Ximines also have yet to practice.

In the end, I think Kadarius Toney and Jabrill Peppers split punt return duties. I am not sure how kickoff return will shake out, but the Giants are intrigued by the speed of John Ross.
