Las Vegas coming to MetLife Stadium as AFC West leaders

With the New York Giants have played, and lost, on Monday night in the Week 8 finale, we are quickly on to Week 9 of the NFL season. The 2-6 Giants return to MetLife Stadium on Sunday to face the Las Vegas Raiders, and oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook are initially listing the Giants as 3-point underdogs.

The Giants are still licking their wounds from a disappointing 20-17 loss on Monday. Heading into Week 9, only four teams have worse records than the Giants. The Jacksonvilel Jaguras are 1-6, the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans are 1-7, and the Detroit Lions are 0-8.

The Raiders are an AFC West-leading 5-2. They have won two straight games since Rich Bisaccia took over from the fired Jon Gruden as interim head coach, with victories over the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles.

Las Vegas will also have the advantage of coming off a bye week, while the Giants are faced with playing on a short week.
