BIG DUBs, t-shirt & hat season — it all fits the Bills like a glove

Immediately following the Buffalo Bills’ Week 18 victory over the Miami Dolphins, the boys were just a tad bit excited — and for good reason. The team had just claimed its fourth-consecutive AFC East Division Championship, a feat accomplish only two other times in franchise history.

Once again, the Bills will enter the postseason as the AFC’s two seed. They’re set to host the Pittsburgh Steelers this coming Sunday at 1 p.m. EST for Super Wild Card Weekend.

Those who’ve been a part of the organization since head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane arrived understand how significant the accomplishment is, especially fighting back from 6-6 and all the way down at 12th in the division. For others, this was their first taste of a division crown.

While everyone experiences things from their own perspective, every member of the Buffalo Bills were clearly on the same wavelength of celebration.

BIG DUBS!

As defensive tackle Ed Oliver so eloquently put it: “We came. We saw. Now give me my had and shirt.”

Check out some video highlights from last night’s huge win — plus, postgame pressers from quarterback Josh Allen, head coach Sean McDermott, and wide receiver Deonte Harty.

Quarterback Josh Allen

“wooooooooo.” — Josh Allen. Probably.

That’s all you need to know from Josh Allen, who was humble in noting his need to be smarter and cut down on the unnecessary mistakes. As to what sparked his improvement, Allen spoke to how he felt the ball was coming off his hands the best all season. Allen also noted of his first-half play:

“We were beatin’ ourselves and I was beatin’ us.”

Allen also noted the importance of thanking “coach Vrabel and the Titans” for the assist on Sunday. Plus, Allen continuously mentioned the resiliency throughout the team, and spoke glowingly about the key moments from so many players.

Allen also discussed the team’s ups and downs throughout the season, his thoughts about the defense almost completely shutting down the Dolphins after halftime.

To hear more from Allen following the team’s Week 18 victory, check out his press conference in full, embedded below.

Head coach Sean McDermott

Sean McDermott was in his feelings following the team’s victory, paying tribute to so many — especially the people of Buffalo. He pointed out how much wide receiver Deonte Harty’s punt return meant to the outcome, and how Josh Allen battled through adversity. McDermott also noted how the first half was a struggled and required better coaching from his part, while also adjusting in the second half. McDermott was candid, noting how he could do nothing other than pray when he chose to go for it on fourth down at the team’s 37 yard line.

McDermott noted the team’s resourcefulness in players being tasked with stepping up to the plate in key moments, and spoke from the heart about cornerback Dane Jackson stepping in for injured cornerback Rasul Douglas. To hear McDermott speak about all this and more, check out his presser, embedded here.

Wide receiver Deonte Harty

Deonte Harty’s turn at the podium helped peel back some of the layers to his personality. As a depth receiver and special teams contributor, Harty doesn’t find as many featured opportunities outside of returns. Hear what Harty said happened to him during his team-record 96-yard punt return touchdown, how the team reacted, and what he saw in the Bills, their culture, and more that made him want to become a member of One Bills Drive this past offseason.

In case you needed any reminder, Bills Mafia is incredible…
