In Week 13, Green Bay hosts Kansas City for “Sunday Night Football”

For the Week 13 edition of “Sunday Night Football,” the (5-6) Green Bay Packers will welcome the (8-3) Kansas City Chiefs to legendary Lambeau Field for the first regular-season matchup the teams have played there since 2015.

Led by 2022 MVP Patrick Mahomes, the defending world champions need to win the last six games of the 2023 season in order to clinch the AFC’s single postseason bye — while the Packers need to do the same in order to have a chance at the playoffs.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love will be playing in his 13th game since stepping out from behind Aaron Rodgers’ shadow — but it won’t be his first start against the Chiefs. When the two teams last played (at Arrowhead Stadium in 2021), Love started in Rodgers’ place after the starting quarterback tested positive for COVID-19. He completed 19 of 34 for 190 yards, a touchdown and an interception as Kansas City dealt Green Bay a 13-7 loss.

Both squads come into this game among the league’s top 10 teams in points allowed.
