The Bengals got mostly good news during Thursday’s practice.

Just like last week’s win at Detroit, the Bengals should have most, if not all of their starters on the 53-man roster able to play Sunday vs. the Ravens.

After Wednesday’s practice saw only three Bengals sit out, Thursday’s session had just two DNPs: Reserve cornerback Jalen Davis and backup nose tackle Tyler Shelvin.

Starting guard Jackson Carman (NIR – rest) was a full participant today after being limited Wednesday, so he looks good to go Sunday.

One small concern is starting defensive end Trey Hendrickson (shoulder) was limited for a second-straight day. He’ll likely need to get in a full practice Friday to avoid being listed as questionable for Sunday.

Starting center Trey Hopkins (shoulder) and backup running back Chris Evans (hamstring) remained limited. Hopkins has been limited for several weeks now, so there’s no real concern for his availability Sunday.

Backup running back Samaje Perine (NIR – rest) was limited his first day back after a stint on the COVID-19 list. He should be active Sunday, though Evans has earned a bigger role if he’s able to overcomer his hamstring issue and play at Baltimore.

After having seven players unable to practice Wednesday, the Ravens got most of those guys back Thursday, including outside linebacker Justin Houston (NIR – rest), cornerback Jimmy Smith (NIR – rest) and center Bradley Bozeman (back).

Running back Latavius Murray (ankle) and wide receiver Sammy Watkins (thigh) both got a second-straight DNP, so their status for Sunday is iffy. For what it’s worth, the Ravens just elevated running back Le’Veon Bell from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
