We chatted with two Lions legends in a hilarious and informative 40-minute conversation.

A couple of months ago, I graciously accepted an invitation to join Detroit Lions legends Herman Moore and Lomas Brown on their new YouTube show, “Breaking Bread.” At the end of that episode, I reciprocated the invitation, hoping the two would come on our home turf and chat more about the Lions for our podcast.

On Wednesday, it finally came together.

The hilarious duo joined us after the Lions’ first day of training camp for a 40-minute chat that ranged in topics. We talked about their days in training camp, and how current players have a much different—and much easier—situation than they did. We also chatted about what makes a good leader both in the locker room and at the head coaching position. From there, we got both Moore’s and Brown’s thoughts on the current Lions organization and Dan Campbell, specifically.

Finally, we had the two answer some questions from our live audience, including their thoughts on Calvin Johnson and his looming Hall of Fame speech.

If you’ve never seen these two chat before, you’re in for a treat. They’re both incredibly smart, hilarious, truthfully blunt, and have amazing on-screen chemistry. If you don’t laugh your butt off watching or listening to this episode, I will personally give you your money back.

You can listen to the podcast below, or watch it on YouTube here.
