Last summer, Isaiah Hodgins was on his way to a back-end roster spot or being on the wrong side of the bubble, but the Buffalo Bills were able to keep him on the roster by placing him on injured reserve. On Friday night, he left the game against the Detroit Lions with a knee injury and history may be repeating itself.

Running back Antonio Williams also left the game with a stinger. He was able to return and finish off the game.

Heading into the game, the team had a relatively long injury list with some big names.

WR Stefon Diggs didn’t dress with a knee injury and left tackle Dion Dawkins is still working into camp shape following his placement on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. RB Zack Moss was “50-50” to play in the game, so he could be back as soon as Sunday’s practice. WR Emmanuel Sanders and DE Jerry Hughes are aging vets who were dealing with injuries prior to this week of practice, and were held out of the game. DT Vernon Butler is another player they were counting on who is now dealing with a concussion.

RB Christian Wade, OL Forrest Lamp, DE Mike Love, and TE Bug Howard all didn’t play Friday due to injury.
