The Jacksonville Jaguars improved to 4-7 with a win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12, while the Detroit Lions fell to a matching 4-7 record by losing to the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving.

Regardless, the oddsmakers at Tipico Sportsbook listed the Lions as the favorite for their home matchup against the Jaguars in Week 13. Detroit opened as a one-point favorite with the point total set at 51.5.

Only one game — a meeting of the high-powered offenses of the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals — has a higher point total (52.5).

The lofty total for the Jaguars-Lions game likely has more to do with the defenses than the offenses, though. No team has allowed more points per game this season than Detroit and Jacksonville has given up 901 yards of offense in its last two outings.

The Jaguars were favored in three games in October, but are set to be the underdog in a fourth consecutive game if the line against the Lions holds.
