After unveiling jersey numbers for the club’s class of free-agent signings last week, Jacksonville did the same for its 2024 NFL draft picks on Monday.

Most notably, first-round wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. changed from his original No. 80 to No. 7, after the team released wide receiver Zay Jones last week. Jones wore No. 7 for Jacksonville over the past two seasons.

Thomas said after his selection that he would like to wear No. 11 in the pros, the same digits he donned with LSU and in high school. “You know what number I want to wear,” Thomas said at the time.

However, second-year Jaguars receiver Parker Washington will hold onto Thomas’ ideal jersey integer, at least for now.

Thomas’ college and now NFL teammate, defensive lineman Maason Smith, stated his desire for the No. 94 following his second-round selection and got his wish from the Jaguars, as revealed Monday.
