Jaguars Wire’s first-round 2024 NFL mock draft

In just over 24 hours, NFL teams begin the next step of filling out their rosters, injecting young talent into positions of need via the 2024 NFL draft.

Quarterbacks are widely expected to fly off the board with the first three picks, potentially the first four or four of the first five. From there, it’s anyone’s guess as to how the board will stack up on Thursday night, although analysts project the first round will heavily feature offensive players.

After previously conducting a seven-round mock focused on Jacksonville, Jaguars Wire offers a guess of its own, attempting to predict the first round of the 2024 NFL draft below. 20 offensive prospects were included in this exercise, compared to 12 defensive players.

In an effort to best project prospect fits and positional needs rather than specific selection slotting, trades were not included in this mock beyond those already executed.
