As the Jets continue to figure out their coaching staff for 2024, one coach that will be sticking around is defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton.

The two sides agreed to a new contract Wednesday, per Brian Costello of the New York Post.

Keeping Whitecotton is huge for the Jets. New toe boasts one of the better defensive lines in the NFL and was very key this past season for the quick development and strong campaigns from Bryce Huff and Jermaine Johnson.

Whitecotton just finished his third season coaching the defensive line for the Jets. He will be back for a fourth season.

Whitecotton has been an NFL coach since 2013, starting as a defensive assistant with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has also coached in Buffalo and San Francisco before joining the Jets in 2021.
