Jets Podcast: Defensive Line Positional Preview

On today’s podcast we continue the positional preview series by taking a look at the defensive line.

These positional preview shows happen at different points of training camp. The point at which they come can radically alter the outlook. If you asked me a week ago about the defensive line, I likely would have had a different answer than I do today. The loss of Carl Lawson was a big one for the Jets. Coupled with the loss of Vinny Curry for half the season, it seems like we are back to the familiar place of hoping for unheralded youngsters to develop into primary roles.

The Jets do have some youngsters with potential. They also retain a lot of talent at the defensive tackle position which will need to carry the defense. We discuss all this and more on today’s episode.
