A week removed from suffering a finger injury during a loss, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow looked just fine throwing the ball at practice on Thursday.

Burrow spent Wednesday resting the injured pinky finger on his throwing hand but got back to it on Thursday. Per CLNS Media’s Mike Petraglia, there were “no visible limitations” to what Burrow was doing.

The day prior, Burrow told reporters he wasn’t going to miss Sunday’s game against the 49ers and expanded on the situation, per Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com:

“I don’t foresee that happening. It’s getting better each day…Under center is fine because the ball doesn’t hit the pinky too much. When you’re under center you can compensate for that.”

Burrow said he’ll try out a few different things with the injured hand when it comes to wraps and gloves. Before the injury, he had considered gloves for the cold December weather anyway, but the two recent home games hadn’t been cold enough to justify it.

Come Sunday, we’ll see what he’s wearing on the injury and how everything looks. But early returns suggest things are going just fine.
