The Bengals quarterback is slowly working back to 100%

The Cincinnati Bengals entered the bye week with a 3-3 record.

More importantly, Joe Burrow is working back into his full form after a lingering calf injury limited him to start the season.

One of the biggest signs of Burrow’s health improving has been his completion percentage.

Entering the season, Burrow was No. 1 all-time with a career 68% completion percentage.

After the first few weeks, Burrow had a 55.3% completion percentage that dropped him out of first place.

But in his last two weeks, back-to-back wins, Burrow posted a 74%, moving back to second all-time, just behind Drew Brees, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. So a good performance in Week 8 could put him back into first place.

The Bengals have quite a challenge ahead coming out of the bye week with the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills.

Burrow will need to be fully healthy if the Bengals are able to secure some statement wins.
