Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow hit social media on Thanksgiving and revealed what he’s thankful for this holiday season.

Burrow’s caption on an image of him warming up before that now-infamous game against the Baltimore Ravens was simple enough: “Thankful for the adversity.”

Now out for the season due to ligament damage to his wrist that will likely result in surgery, Burrow has taken an active role in helping out backup-turned-starter Jake Browning ahead of this weekend’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The team has already declared Burrow out for the season and recently head coach Zac Taylor said he didn’t think the star quarterback would be able to make it back in time if the Bengals are able to make the playoffs.

Given how he’s stormed back from other injuries, Bengals fans didn’t need to see Burrow’s Thanksgiving message — but it probably doesn’t hurt, either.
