Jordan Whitehead ‘full go’ at Buccaneers practice Wednesday

It appears as though those fears may be tempered just a little bit.</p> <p id="S1vkbG">Jordan Whitehead was a full participant in practice on Wednesday as the Bucs begin preparations for their matchup with the division rival <a href="https://www.thefalcoholic.com/">Atlanta Falcons</a> at Raymond James Stadium this Sunday. First and foremost, Calvin Ridley has taken over the Julio Jones role as the team’s number one guy. After that, Russell Gage has looked good in games with Atlanta where Julio was out and rookie Kyle Pitts is going to be a major factor for quite some time. Whitehead’s return couldn’t come at a better time after the Bucs defense gave up over 400 yards passing to Dak Prescott a week ago.</p> <p id="4eQCdS">Antoine Winfield Jr. spoke about Whitehead’s return following practice Wednesday saying, “It helps a lot - him out there making calls and his overall presence on the field.”</p> <p id="bM6iva">Bruce Arians informed the media that Whitehead was full speed all day and that he “should be good” to play against the Falcons this Sunday.</p> </div>
