Arrowhead Pride advocate Peter Schrager shared the news on FOX’s NFL Kickoff show.

It won’t take long for Kansas City Chiefs fans to get their first glimpse at wide receiver Josh Gordon, according to NFL Network and FOX Sports’ Peter Schrager. Appearing on FOX’s “NFL Kickoff” on Sunday morning, Schrager suggested Gordon will be a player to watch as the Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football.

“I’m told he’s expected to not only dress but be part of the game plan [Sunday night] for the Chiefs in the huge AFC championship game rematch with the Buffalo Bills,” said Schrager. “He’s been practicing. He’s been soaking up the playbook like a sponge, and they have plays designed to get Josh Gordon going.”

The Chiefs officially signed Gordon to the 53-man roster on Tuesday — and with Schrager’s report, it sounds like the team feels comfortable enough with his progress that he will be active Sunday night.

The Chiefs release their inactive list around 90 minutes before kickoff — on Sunday, that is approximately 5:50 p.m. We’ll keep you posted right here at Arrowhead Pride.
