Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson made his presence known in the first half of Monday night’s showdown against the Minnesota Vikings, where he’s been a playmaker for Chicago’s defense.
Johnson recorded an interception of quarterback Josh Dobbs early in the second quarter. And he nearly had a second — which could’ve and probably would’ve been a pick-six.
The ESPN/ABC television copy captured a hilarious moment upon replay, where Bears quarterback Justin Fields is seen in the background jumping on the sideline as he thought Johnson had his second interception of the night. And let’s just say, Fields was literally jumping for joy.

This is the second consecutive game where Johnson has dropped a would-be pick-six (he should’ve had one against the Detroit Lions last week). But it’s hard to be too mad at Johnson when he already has a takeaway on the night.
The Bears and Vikings tied 3-3 at halftime.
