File this under things you love to see.

I couldn’t help but to feel the need to share this as I came across it in my inbox. We love to see football players helping their community. Tennessee Titans safety Kevin Byard has been a great leader for this football team, both on and off the field.

Byard’s foundation, the Byard Family Legacy Fund, recently finished renovating a local foster home in Nashville, Tennessee in partnership with Campbell’s Chunky Soup.

In addition to Kevin and his wife Clarke’s tireless work on the renovations, Campbell’s Chunky Soup donated $8,000 worth of home appliances and 200 cans of soup to the Davidson County Department of Children’s Services Safe Room’s kitchen, On Sunday, August 1, the big reveal took place, and the joint efforts were revealed at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Byard’s commitment to providing security and safety for youth in the Davidson County Foster System is close to his heart and reflects the mission of The Byard Family Legacy Fund. The renovations by Byard and donations from Campbell’s create a safe space to house some of the 750 children currently in the Davidson County Foster System.

This is wonderful. We look forward to Byard’s continued generosity helping make Nashville a better place.
