Falcons QB Kirk Cousins will wear the No. 18 this season

When the Falcons signed quarterback Kirk Cousins in free agency, many wondered if he would attempt to acquire the No. 8 from tight end Kyle Pitts.

During his introductory press conference, Cousins said he spoke to Pitts about a potential number change and that the young tight end simply requested “targets” in return for the jersey.

However, it doesn’t appear the two players were able to work out a deal. On Monday, the team announced that Cousins will wear the No. 18 for Atlanta this season.
