The film stars Zachary Levi as Warner.
After years of speculation, former Cardinal and Ram QB Kurt Warner’s bio pic is finally getting a release.
Check out the trailer for “American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story”, staring former “Shazam!” star Zachary Levi in the title role:

The trailer appears to highlight the large majority of Warner’s career with the then St. Louis Rams. It is also expected to chronicle his early struggles as an Arena Football player and infamous grocery store “shelf stocker”.
The large majority of the cast, which includes Dennis Quaid as Ram’s head coach Dick Vermeil, again appears to highlight Warner’s early days rather than his resurgence in Arizona as the Cardinal’s QB. Within the IMDB credentials for the film, there is not anyone notable who could be playing former/current Cardinals (ala Larry Fitzgerald, Ken Whisenhunt etc.).
