The Baltimore Ravens have had plenty of success since quarterback Lamar Jackson took over at the helm for the team. During the regular season, Jackson has a 30-7 record, has had many amazing performances, and can break a game open both with his arm and with his legs.

A potential massive contract extension has been at the forefront of many recent conversations surrounding the fourth-year quarterback, but when Jackson was asked about where things stand with his contract talks, he said that he isn’t focused on a potential deal right now, but rather winning.

“You know, I’m not going to lie to you; I’m not really focused on that right now. I’m focused on getting a Super Bowl. I’m focused on getting better. I’m focused on working with my teammates right now. I don’t really … Whatever was out there – put out there – that’s what it is. Like I said before, I’m focused on winning right now. I’m trying to bring a Super Bowl here.”

The answer from Jackson further confirms what many already know about him, and that is that he’s an extremely hard worker who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. The quarterback will deserve every penny of his eventual contract extension, but for now, he’s focused on getting better and delivering another championship to the city of Baltimore.
