Let’s take our weekly visit to the EA Madden Universe to see how Sunday plays out!

Here’s what happened in our simulation:

This week, the Kansas City Chiefs look to make it a two-game winning streak as they travel to the country music city capital, Nashville, Tennessee, to take on the Titans. As usual, we simulated this matchup in the EA Universe.

In a nutshell, anything that could go wrong did go wrong for the Chiefs in this sim against the Titans. The offense showed spurts of staying consistent and had the pedal down working the field — but turnovers would derail the moment, with every first-half turnover turning into a touchdown. The Titans defense managed pick-six and two fumble-return-touchdowns

The positive note for the Chiefs is that they did not concede and kept scoring, even down by three scores. Patrick Mahomes played exceptionally well, having a completion percentage of 86%, 372 yards through the air, and he threw two touchdown passes in the process. If the turnovers did happen, Mahomes would have kept the Chiefs in the game.

A surprising aspect of the simulation was the Titans throwing for big chunk plays even when leading by three scores. But you can never count the Chiefs’ offense out, even during a blowout. I could see more and more teams trying to use this philosophy against the Chiefs when they are beating them.

There was a lighthearted moment, as defensive tackle Khalen Saunders was in at fullback due to Michael Burton out with a pectoral injury.

Henry’s finished with 22 rushes for 140 yards with two touchdowns. He is fully capable of doing this on Sunday, but Mahomes and the offense should keep the Chiefs in the game.

Final score: Titans 49, Chiefs 31

For Week 8, the Chiefs are back home on Monday night, taking on the New York Giants. As always, we will bring you what happens in the EA Universe first.
