Johnson hauled in five passes for 79 yards in his return from injury.
Steelers Wide Receiver Diontae Johnson returned from a hamstring injury suffered in the team’s opener against the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, and it didn’t take him long to make a big impact.
Johnson had five catches for 79 yards — the most significant coming on this 39-yard catch and run in the 4th quarter with the Steelers down a touchdown, needing a boost.

Today at his weekly press conference, HC Mike Tomlin talked about the impact of Johnson’s return, and how his presence opened up the field for George Pickens to also thrive. Pickens finished with five catches for 107 yards.
