Quite a few names missing for the purple

Heading into Sunday’s game in the desert, the Minnesota Vikings and the Arizona Cardinals have released their final injury reports. Let’s take a look at the bumps and bruises for both sides, starting with the visiting side, as is our wont.

We detailed Griffen’s situation in a post just a little bit ago. Barr has now, officially, missed 16 consecutive games, or what used to be a full season’s worth. We’ll see if he hits the full 17-game schedule next week. Hand will be a significant blow to the special teams, as he had a pretty great game in that role against the Bengals. It might also open the door for Cameron Dantzler to be active this week after being a healthy scratch in Week 1.

Also, here’s hoping that Kendricks is a full go on Sunday because if he’s not, that linebacker corps suddenly looks awfully thin.

And now, on to the home team.

Kliff Kingsbury has declared that Beachum is going to be a game-time decision. He’s the starting right tackle for the Cardinals, and if he can’t go Justin Murray is next on their depth chart on the team’s official website. Washington is one of the backups at safety for the Cardinals and it doesn’t appear that he’s in any actual danger of missing Sunday’s game after fully practicing on Friday.

Those are the final injury reports for both sides leading into Sunday’s clash in the desert, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have more on this game for you as we get closer to kickoff.
