Saturday Open Thread

Good Morning!

It’s game day for the Vikings! Yes, I know it’s preseason but preseason is better than the doldrums of the offseason. Since I cutoff Direct TV last year I don’t have access to games so I’ll be following along in the game threads for most of the afternoon. Consistent with any preseason game, I’m hoping for no injuries for either team along with a entertaining contest. Since we’ll be having game threads and other articles I’ll be posting a Sunday open thread for the usual complaining, gifs and shenanigans.

Meanwhile, we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s the Saturday, time to fire up the smoker or the grill and start chilling the beer.
