Game statuses for the 2021 season opener at Gillette Stadium.

The New England Patriots have ruled out wide receiver Malcolm Perry for Sunday’s season opener against the Miami Dolphins.

An additional four members of New England’s active roster have been designated as questionable.

Here’s the final injury report heading into the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.

OUT

Patriots

  • WR Malcolm Perry (foot)

Dolphins

  • no players listed

The Patriots held an in-stadium practice on Friday, and Perry marked the lone non-participant. The former Navy quarterback and 2020 Dolphins seventh-round pick arrived off waivers following the NFL deadline, and is now officially out due to a foot injury. Perry appeared in nine games as a rookie last season with Miami. Those games included nine catches for 92 yards with his first career touchdown.

QUESTIONABLE

Patriots

  • WR Nelson Agholor (ankle)
  • OT Yodny Cajuste (hamstring)
  • LB Ronnie Perkins (shoulder)
  • CB Jalen Mills (ankle)

Dolphins

  • WR Preston Williams (foot)

Each of the Patriots’ four questionable finished the week as limited. Both Agholor and Mills had previously been limited on Wednesday and sidelined on Thursday by ankle ailments. The projected starters at wide receiver and cornerback are now 50-50 to face Miami. As are Cajuste at offensive tackle and Perkins at outside linebacker. New England’s third-rounders from past and present have recently worked in a partial capacity with hamstring and shoulder injuries, respectively.
