Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Earlier this week, former Jets’ quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick appeared on an ESPN podcast with Pablo Torres. The gist of the interview expanded on Fitz’s career, but he did mention the Jets, though not in a good light. In essence, Fitzpatrick contributes the 2016 season as one that made him hate football. Normally, comments like that may go unnoticed. However, with a franchise/fan base that has been through as much hardship as the Jets, it adds to an already negative stigma against the team. Could it be that maybe perhaps Ryan wasn’t able to live up to the heavy expectations he set upon himself the year prior? Maybe he just completely folded under the pressure.
