The Jets and Eagles will get a feel for each other days before they face off in the final preseason game of the 2021 season.

New York will host Joe Douglas’ former team for two training camp practices on Aug. 24 and 25 and then play the Eagles on Aug. 27 at MetLife Stadium. This will be after the Jets travel to Wisconsin to practice with the Packers from Aug. 18-19 before their preseason match with Green Bay.

The last time the Jets held a joint practice with another team was in 2018 when they traveled to Virginia for Washington’s training camp.

This Eagles team will look a lot different than the one Douglas left in 2019. Nick Sirianni is now the head coach and Jalen Hurts heads into his first full season as the starting quarterback. The Jets are also quite different than the team the Eagles played in 2019 with Robert Saleh at the helm and Zach Wilson under center.

This joint session will be the first time a few former Eagles see their old team, too, including defensive end Vinny Curry.
