The Chargers are coming off a 20-10 loss to the Ravens, marking their third consecutive loss. While Los Angeles’ defense kept them in the game, Justin Herbert and the offense turned the ball over four times and struggled against Baltimore’s defense.
On the other hand, the Patriots are a game removed from a 10-7 loss to the Giants, which was their fourth-straight loss. Mac Jones started but was replaced by Bailey Zappe after Jones threw two interceptions. They combined for 143 passing yards. New York won a game-winning field goal as time expired.
The last time the Chargers and Patriots faced off was in 2021. New England won 27-24. The Patriots lead the series 27-15-2.
