NFL free agency: 5 LBs the Texans should target

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans has earned a reputation as a linebacker whisper. The former two-time Pro Bowler helped turn third-round pick Fred Warner into one of, if not the best, middle linebackers in the league with the San Francisco 49ers. Ryans’ work carried over to Houston, where Christian Harris and Blake Cashman enjoyed career years.

Cashman is set to hit the open market and the Texans will weigh their options in free agency to see who makes the most sense alongside the emerging Harris. Cashman played the MIKE position, while Harris handled the weakside linebacker.
