NFL Best Bet #1: Jacksonville Jaguars @ Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills come into this game as the best team in the NFL in my power rankings. After beating up the undefeated Miami Dolphins, the Bills have now won three in a row by an average of 27 points.

However, I think we are getting Jacksonville at a great price here. Last week, the Jaguars beat the Atlanta Falcons 23-7 in London. The Jaguars are playing back-to-back weeks in London so they stayed across the pond. I think this is a huge advantage for the Jaguars. Not only do they not have to travel, but they are comfortable and in their routine playing out there.

Although they have not played like it at times this season, the Jaguars were in the AFC’s Divisional Round last year. They are a good football team and I believe they have the head coach and quarterback to play in a shootout with Buffalo.

I think Jacksonville keeps this game close and covers the number.

NFL Best Bet #2: Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are coming off a 24-point loss on the road to the Houston Texans. Pittsburgh had only 225 total yards, including 111 through the air. Their defense did not look any better, allowing 451 total yards and 312 passing yards to rookie QB C.J. Stroud.

Kenny Pickett suffered a knee injury that held him out of the fourth quarter during their loss last week to the Texans. He practiced in a limited role on Wednesday but should be able to start on Sunday.

This feels like a classic “bet on Mike Tomlin” spot for me. Tomlin is 55-31-4 against the spread as an underdog, which is good for 61%. As a home underdog, Coach Tomlin is 17-5-3 against the spread in his career. Also, in the Ravens and Steelers rivalry, the underdog is 22-3 against the spread in the last 25 games. This just shows how close every one of these games are and I expect that to continue this week.

I think this could be a great buy-low spot on the Steelers.
