Football is back.

The 2020 NFL season transpired in a morgue. Teams played in empty stadiums. Crowd noise was pumped in like every home team was the Atlanta Falcons. Clumps of fans casually littered the stadium as the season progressed, but it was sporadic. Football was good; it was still the game we love, but it was missing something.

That will change in the 2021 NFL season. Now that the lagging Colts received approval from their governing body, the entire NFL has been approved to have stadiums at full capacity for the upcoming NFL campaign.

Fans will be allowed to attend training camps and attend home games like they used to. How the local cities make this happen will be dependent on their own rules. Will you be required to bring in a vaccine card? Will you have to wear a mask? Will fans have to stand six feet apart in the snack bar line?

All of this will be figured out come August. For now, we know that football will truly be back once the regular season kicks off in September.
