Anything can happen in the NFL.

The NBA gets dunked on for predictability and top-heavy imbalance, but this year’s playoffs are proving that myth wrong. While the Bucks and Suns certainly have some quality players, these were not the teams that were expected to compete for the title at the beginning of the 2020-21 season.

Might the same be the case in the NFL? Early odds are never perfect, but teams with the best projections are not too surprising. From the NFC, most believe the Buccaneers, Rams, 49ers, and Packers (should they have Aaron Rodgers) have the best chance at a Super Bowl LIV appearance.

Today’s Question of the Day is:

What NFC team could make a surprising Super Bowl run?

My answer: The NFC West is as stacked as ever, but could the Arizona Cardinals make some waves this year? Kyler Murray continues to be one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the game, and A.J. Green and Rondale Moore join the loaded receiving corps.

Meanwhile, the defense ranked 10th in DVOA last season, and while the division boasts some of the toughest offenses in the league, the Cardinals should be able to hold their own. Oddmakers see Arizona as a middle-of-the-pack option in the NFC, but do not be surprised if this team makes a run in the postseason.

Your turn.
