Somewhat lost in the chaos of the Cincinnati Bengals agreeing to a five-year contract extension with Joe Burrow was the impact it had on the Kansas City Chiefs.

After all, the announcement of the $275 million deal with $219 million in guarantees ($188 million more than any other player in Bengals history) just so happened to occur right as the Chiefs raised a Super Bowl LVII banner at Arrowhead while kicking off the 2023 NFL season on Thursday night.
