Picking everything from Browns-Broncos to Saints-Seahawks with help from the Internet
It is just about to be Week 7 in the NFL starting Thursday night in Cleveland with the Broncos facing the Browns. I have rarely done weekly picks in my professional or personal life and so instead I turn my choices over to Twitter. I was influenced by the first thing that piqued my interest and these are my picks for Week 7.
All draft odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Broncos at Browns (-1.5) – Thursday Night Football
Nothing like a tornado warning heading down for the #Browns game

The Cleveland tornado is symbolic.
Pick: Broncos +1.5
Bengals at Ravens (-6.5)
Joe Burrow reacts to the Coach O news at LSU. “That’s disappointing to me… I wouldn’t be here without Coach O.” #Bengals #LSU pic.twitter.com/mJ8bqi4e2g

Going with methodology that Joe Burrow is going to continue to have a bad week.
Pick: Ravens -6.5
WFT at Packers (-7.5)
Taylor Heinicke. Tough in the pocket. #WashingtonFootball

Somehow Taylor Heinicke can throw an incomplete pass and people still lose their minds over his flair for falling short.
Pick: Ravens +7.5
Falcons (-2.5) at Dolphins
Brock Bowers is 353 receiving yards and 5 receiving TDs away from Kyle Pitts numbers last season.

Isn’t Kyle Pitts kinda…”yesterday’s news” at this point? What I’m excited about is the next next brand of tight end.
Pick: Dolphins +2.5
Jets at Patriots (-6.5)
In 1969, Jets punter Steve O’Neal set an NFL/AFL record with a 98-yard punt. You’re about to see it right now and I’ve got that son of a bitch traveling 105 yards off his foot before stopping dead about six inches from the goddamn goal line. Perfect.

I love a long punt story.
Pick: Jets +6.5
Panthers (-2.5) at Giants
Panthers placed RB Christian McCaffrey in injured reserve, meaning he’s out for a minimum of at least three more games.

Pick: Giants +2.5
Chiefs (-5) at Titans
IF Patrick Mahomes did this, it would lead every show on TV today.pic.twitter.com/yseoVPek41
— Action Network NFL (@ActionNetNFL) October 18, 2021
I was looking for Patrick Mahomes. I got Matthew Stafford.
Pick: Titans +5.5
Lions at Rams (-15.5)
Rams lead the NFL in explosive pass gains without being co-dependent on any one tool. Their 22.8% explosive pass gain rate WITHOUT play-action is the same as the average bump gained by the league WITH play-action. (TruMedia)

I was looking for Matthew Stafford and I got Matthew Stafford.
Pick: Rams -15.5
Eagles at Raiders (-3)

One of the 32 NFL head coaches is Rich Bisaccia.
Pick: Raiders -3
Texans at Cardinals (-17.5)
Best passer rating on deep passes:
1. Carson Wentz – 137.5
2. Justin Herbert – 125.2
3. Russell Wilson – 122.5
4. Josh Allen – 118.6Worst:
1. Jared Goff – 50.0
2. Ryan Tannehill – 53.1
3. Davis Mills – 58.9
4. Tua Tagovailoa – 59.8https://t.co/pvNsZkYB4H— ProFootballReference (@pfref) October 20, 2021
This will probably be Davis Mills’ last start prior to Tyrod Taylor returning next week against the Rams. We ain’t about to see no general Mills this Sunday.
Pick: Texans +17.5
Bears at Buccaneers (-12)
