The NFL trade deadline is 4:00pm ET on Tuesday, November 2nd.

Today is Tuesday, November 2nd which is significant in the NFL given that it is the 2021 trade deadline!

The Dallas Cowboys are not expected to be serious players in the trade market this year, but that doesn’t mean that other teams won’t be. Consider that on Monday that the Los Angeles Rams acquired pass rusher Von Miller from the Denver Broncos in exchange for a second- and third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft (here is what that means for the Cowboys).

It is possible that the day brings with it a few more moves across the league and it is, of course, possible that Dallas is involved. We have put together a tracker to gather all of the noteworthy moves and rumors across the NFL as a whole.

Dallas Cowboys Trade Rumors

According to NFL Network’s Peter Schrager, the Cowboys were among the teams who called the Denver Broncos about Von Miller before the Rams ultimately traded for him.

Schrager is famously close with Rams head coach Sean McVay so it isn’t difficult to figure out where his information might be coming from. It makes sense for contending teams (which Dallas is) to inquire about trades like this, but Dallas was not willing to pay what Los Angeles was.

Trade Notes and Rumors across the NFL

  • Kansas City Chiefs trade a 2022 sixth-round draft pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for pass rusher Melvin Ingram (read more about the trade at Arrowhead Pride)
  • Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr.’s father has taken to social media to note how much quarterback Baker Mayfield isn’t involving him in the team’s offense
  • The Green Bay Packers are reportedly in search of a tight end
  • San Francisco is acquiring pass rusher Charles Omenihu from the Houston Texans in exchange for a future late-rounder, according to NFL Network
