The 2024 NFL draft is just around the corner. With the first round kicking off on Thursday night, we are so close to finding out who will be suiting up for the Tennessee Titans in 2024.

It’s no secret that the Titans need to address the offensive line. The majority of mock drafts have the team selecting Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt with the seventh pick. Alt immediately fills the team’s biggest need and is thought of as the best tackle prospect in the draft.

While Alt is the likely pick, there is speculation about the team going elsewhere. Due to an expected run on quarterbacks, there could be an elite receiver or defender available when the Titans come on the clock.

Will Ran Carthon & Co. stick with a tackle? Is a trade back possible? All of that remains to be seen, but today I want to identify some mistakes the Titans have to avoid making in the 2024 NFL draft, one of which pertains to the former scenario.
