Ron Rivera says on the Heinicke QB sneak – he’s under assumption one official (Ref?) is assigned to watch the QB & on the coaches EZ footage, it was clear that Heinicke’s knee(s) did not touch the ground. Says official should have seen that.

Two things I despise from Heinicke:

1) his ball placement is dreadful. Even on completions he leaves so much on the field because he leaves WR’s in bad positions

2) his situational awareness is unsustainably bad. The red zone turnovers and the play at the goal line are

But on the other hand, a year ago he was just looking to get a gig as a coach making peanuts, and now he’s proven himself to be a solid backup QB in the NFL, making millions. Life could be worse.
