After analyzing the Tennessee Titans’ offseason roster on the offensive side of the ball, we’re now turning our focus to the defense, where the Titans have no shortage of concerns going into the 2024 NFL draft.

Tennessee’s defense was the most consistent bright spot between the two sides of the ball last season, but the unit has suffered some major losses, with guys like Denico Autry and Azeez Al-Shaair leaving for Houston.

While the Titans haven’t replaced either of those players just yet, they did greatly improve what was a major weakness in the cornerbacks room with a trade and signing.

But as you’ll see soon, there is still a lot of work to be done on the defensive side of the ball. The good news is, the Titans still have cap space to work with, so the 2024 NFL draft isn’t their last hope when it comes to shoring up remaining holes, although options in free agency are slim at this time of year.

Now, on to some analysis of each position group on defense.
