Casual Friday open thread: Where in the world is Field Gulls? (2024 edition)

Seahawks fans, where in the world are you?

We haven’t done a Casual Friday open thread in awhile, but we might as well get one going as we approach the NFL Draft at the end of the month.

For newer readers: Casual Friday is an off-topic post where we generally discuss non-Seattle Seahawks things. This week’s theme is Seahawks-adjacent but has everything to do with Field Gulls.

Every year since 2020 we have taken an informal census on where Seahawks fans/Field Gulls readers are based. Just from last year’s survey we had respondents not just from every region of the United States, but The Netherlands, Japan, Germany, South Africa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, Thailand, England, Wales, Canada, Portugal, Brazil, and many other countries.

As a reminder: You don’t have to be super detailed as to where you are right now if you don’t want to (e.g. you live in Eastern Washington but don’t want to say you live in Spokane). feel free to chime in and we can get a clearer picture of just how much we span the country and the world.

I’m entering year seven (!) in Oregon, just outside the city of Portland. I’ve lived close to half my life in the Pacific Northwest.
