We’ve made it through the first quarter of Monday Night Football at U.S. Bank Stadium with the Chicago Bears and your Minnesota Vikings still scoreless, 0-0.

The Vikings won the coin toss and deferred to the second half, giving Justin Fields and the Chicago offense the football first. The Bears put together a long opening drive with Fields converting three third downs with his arm, but Ivan Pace Jr. picked up a sack to slow the Bears down and the drive stalled from there. The Bears called on Cairo Santos for a 48-yard field goal attempt and it went wide to the right, leaving the game scoreless.

Unfortunately, the Vikings’ offense went three-and-out on their first possession with Dobbs getting sacked by Montez Sweat to end the drive. Chicago put together another long possession and went for it on 4th-and-10 in Minnesota territory. Fields then found Cole Kmet for a big gain and as we move to the second quarter the Bears have a 1st-and-10 from the Minnesota 14-yard line.

That’s all that happened in the first quarter, folks. . .the Bears are rolling on offense and the Vikings aren’t doing much, but it’s still scoreless after the first quarter of play. Come join us for the second quarter on Monday Night Football!
