There are some great memories here

We had a super fun exercise this week in our Tuesday Community Question.

We got right to it and asked fans what was the best win in Raiders’ history.

I know, it wasn’t easy. That’s like asking which is your favorite child or favorite pizza toping.

In the rich Raiders’ history that are simply just so many options, starting, or course, with three Super Bowl titles.

But fans really got into it and came up with some creative answers.

The spirit of this question what your personal favorite and people came up with some great memories and it is just another example of why this fan base is special.

Here are some of your responses:

There have been a lot of them for different reasons – great comebacks, beating a hated rival in a key game, etc, but the Heidi game in ’68 has to rate as one of the greatest.

I know it was a meaningless win but the mile high ass beating was a thing of beauty.

The SB games were great but not close in score. I will go with the “Sea of Hands” game. Nobody had beat the Fins in a looong time. To do it on a prayer on the last play of the game was unbelievable. I never have felt energy at a Raiders game like that one. That’s a memory I will never forget.

It has to be that first Super Bowl against the Vikings. I’ll tell you what, though. The 2003 AFC Championship Game against the Titans holds a special place for me. It had been a long road up to that point to get the team back to where it belonged in fighting for the Super Bowl.

I knew we would win, though, the minute I walked across the parking lot and saw and heard Metallica playing on the back of a flat bed 18 wheeler pre game. It was hard to beat that glorious day with a unannounced Metallica mini concert in the parking lot of the Coliseum and a Raiders win to go to the Super Bowl. I even got a cheeseburger on foot by walking up to the drive through window at the Jack in the Box after the game.
